Revelation, the Series: Chapters 1:7-11

I will bring the actual scriptures to you as literally, historically and grammatically as they were written by the 40 inspired writers of the Holy Bible (KJV). In addition, I will share our beliefs and why we believe them; However, I urge you to be as the Bereans at Thessalonica were and search the scriptures daily to see if what was said is true. (Acts 17:11)

                                            ******************

                                    Additional Comments:

*In Rev 1:19..John was instructed to :Write the things which thou hast seen, (Jesus Christ, Chapter 1) and the things which are, (the Churches, Chapters 2 and 3) and the things which shall be hereafter; ( Chapters 4 thru 22)This outline of Revelation is unique to its pages. (emphasis added)

*The number of "Sevens" in the books of the Bible are numerous but none so much as in Revelation. I think one will find there is an inexhaustible supply of sevens in this book. As the number “SEVEN” has a meaning of completion, we get the feeling that a final completion of all things is truly coming.

Revelations, the Series: Chapter 1:7-11

Revelation is the only book in the bible that offers a blessing to those who read and understand its pages.

Today, we will continue in our Bible Study of the Book of Revelation written by John of Patmos. Revelation is the ancient Greek word apokalupsis (apocalypse).  The word simply means “a revealing, an unveiling.”. It is important to note that Revelation is singular and is NOT the Revelation of JOHN but rather the unveiling of Jesus Christ.

Rev 1:7-8.."Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.v8..I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."

"Behold, he cometh with clouds"1; When Jesus comes back for the second time, He will be surrounded by clouds as He was when He ascended to Heaven. John actually sees Jesus in the clouds in Rev 14:14 and was at the Mt. of Transfiguration. His 2nd coming was described by the two men that stood by them in white apparel; These were not angels but MEN. Could they be the same as the two Witnesses. We will dig this out a little later in the chapters of Revelation. "Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." (Acts 1:9-11)

"and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him."

every eye” refers to the entire earth. An idiom where every person that is alive on earth will see him coming in the clouds. (Mat 24:30) including those that crucified Him, the Nation of Israel. The whole earth shall dread to see Him coming for a large part of them have denied Him all their lives. This also to my understanding relates to the geocentricity of the earth however, this is another study!

"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." The Alpha and Omega, the first and last of the Greek language refers to the Hebrew language where the “Aleph” and “Taware the first and last letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The Hebrew “Aleph” is the root of our Alphabet. We also we see two of the seven titles used to describe Jesus Christ as will be seen again in chapters 2 through 20. Here again we see the outline of Revelation (Which is,(Jesus Christ) Which was,(the Churches) Which is to come, (chapters 4 through 22).

Rev 1:9-11.. "I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. V10.. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, v11.. Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea."

John not only confirms that he is part of the Church (Body of Christ) that you and I are a part of but also gives us his location during his writing of Revelation. John was exiled to Patmos by the Roman Emperor Domitian (81-96 AD) who was the brother of Titus, who in 70 AD had destroyed Jerusalem.2

I was in the Spirit : Each of us are eternal through a spirit which is the ‘true usand a mortal container (our body) which consist of flesh, bone and blood (only the Bone will be accepted in Heaven)3 While this was not a ‘Walk in the Spirit’ as Paul stated in Galatians 5:16, John did find himself in the spirit on the Lord's day,:

I ask you to answer to yourself. Just what the Lord’s day is? If you said “Sunday” you would be wrong! God began creation on day one and rested on the seventh day. In those days, the cycle of the moon (30 days) determined the month, and the days were counted one through thirty with a week division being “one” through “Seven”. The Sabbath was always on the “seventh day” on God’s calendar (the number “Seven” means completion). The Roman calendars began around 700 BC and eventually had twelve months with 354 days. Yet not until around the second to the fourth century AD, were the days of a week named. Although Sunday was the first day of the week, it was named “[dies] Dominicus (Dominica)”, I,e., “The Lord’s Day” with Saturday being named for the Sabbath. There is also a curious European Calendar where Monday is the first day and Sunday the seventh?

and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,: This will correspond to scripture(s) that describes God’s commands as the sound of a trumpet.4 From the next line we know it is the voice of Jesus Christ. Nine out of ten Churches will try to relate the this trumpet and the trumpet of 1 Thes 4:16..For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:”, with the last trumpet found in Rev 11:15. These are two different trumpets, sounds. We will discuss this in depth when we get to chapter 11.

Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: Again, a title for Jesus Christ..

In this first chapter of Revelation, how many titles of Jesus Christ are there? I’ll leave that for you to find in your study of Revelation Chapter 1.

What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; There are thirty-three “I Saw's in the Book of Revelation. I believe this is a fail-safe against the things that John saw as being spiritualized although nine out of ten churches do so with the entire book of Revelation.

unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea." : The question of WHY these Seven Churches when there were numerous other churches surrounding them. These were actual churches during the time of John ( Write those things which ARE!)

. I have included a link to map of these churches from (www. Bible.ca)5.

WHY these seven churches and WHY are they given in this specific order? In the coming articles about chapters two and three, I believe we will find the answers.

to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” (Rev 1:6)

*The Authorized King James Edition (1611, 1769) was used exclusively as other versions are somewhat different depending upon the year of their printing.

*All verses in the Bible are: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”  (Note: we have placed all scripture in RED for your convenience)

*Thus God is considered the author of all 66 books through 40 writers including those of Psalm 2.

*Because none of us know when our time on this earth is at an end; it is paramount that

you know exactly where you are in your walk with Jesus Christ. Since your justification/salvation is not determined by the Church you attend or the amount of good work you do, etc.; I urge you to make sure of your personal relationship with Jesus Christ in the privacy of your own time.

1 Cor 15:3-4.."For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

The Trinity: (the Father), (the Son), (the Holy Spirit)

I bring to you our beliefs and why we believe them. I urge you follow Acts 17:11 and  search the scriptures to see if what we say is true.

                                              ************

Throughout history, there has been a movement within churches and denominations that deny the GodHead as a Trinity (all the essence in one GOD and three in person). Although the Bible does not have the word "trinity" within it pages, it does through scripture tell us the 'Father', 'Son' and 'Holy Spirit' are one GOD numerous times!

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Gen 1:1). One GOD (plural in form--'Elohiym ) or Gods ('Elohiym ) appears with singular verb form ('Created') .

'Elohiym appears 680 times throughout the Bible as a plural form. Notice the plural pronouns ("us"; "our") that are accompanying the follow scritpures.

Gen 1:26.."And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:.."
Gen 3:22 .."And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us,.."
Gen 11:7 .."Go to, let us go down,..."
Isa 6:8.. "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?"

The plurality of GOD is spelled out for everyone to see in the New Testament.

Mat 28:19.."Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"

Cor 13:14.."The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen"

John 14:17.."Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

Exchanges among the GodHead.

Gen 3:22.."And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us,.."
Gen 11:7.."Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language,..."
Isa 6:8.."Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?.."
Isa 48:12.."Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last."
Isa 48:13.."Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together."
Isa 48:16.."... I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me."
Ps 2:7.."I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee."
Ps 45:7.."Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows."
ps 110:1.."....The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool."
Mat 11:27.."All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him."
John 8:42.."Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me."
Joh 17:24.."Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world."

In the Old Testament we see the singularity of GOD:

Deu 6:4 .."Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:..."  and
Exo 20:2..."I am the LORD thy God,"  is declared yet, the Hebrew plural form of "'elohiym" is present in all.

We see the Monotheism (belief of a singular GOD) in these scriptures.

Deu 30:16.."In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God,..."
Rom 3:30.."Seeing it is one God,...".
John 6:27.."....which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed."
John 20:28.."And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God."
Rom 9:5.."Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen."
2 Peter 1:1.."....through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:"
Acts 5:3-5.."....why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, .....v4. ....thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.  v5.And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: ......"
John 1:16-17 .."And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. v7.
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."

                                                ***************

In the following scriptures are various events that will show  the Trinity in work. These are by no means an exhaustive catalog of all the scriptures but rather a few to help in the search for truth.(1)

                                     Creation of the Universe

Father : Psalm 102:25.."Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands."

Son: Col 1:14,16.."In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  v16..For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"

Son: John 1:1-3.."In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. v2..The same was in the beginning with God. v3..All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."

Holy Spirit: Gen 1:2..And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

Holy Spirit: Job 26:13.."By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent"

Father, Son, The Holy Spirit:  Gen 1:1.."In the beginning God ('elohiym ) created the heaven and the earth." (emphasis added)

                                            Creation Of Man

Father: Gen 2:7 .."And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

Son: Col 1:16.."For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"

Spirit: Job 33:4.."The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life."

Plurals: Ecc 12:1.."Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;"

Plurals: Isa 54:5.."For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his        name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called."

                                                 I AM

"I Am" is used 742 times in the Authorized King James Edition. These two words inform us actually who GOD is.....In the early days of the Exodus, God meet Moses at the burning bush on Mt. Sinai. In Exo 3:14, we find one of the names of GOD is "I AM"....Then in later scripture, John 8:58, Jesus tells us He is "I AM"

Exo 3:14.."And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."

John 8:58.."Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am."

                                             The Incarnation

Father: Hebrews 10:5.."Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:"

Son: Phil 2:7.."But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:"

Spirit:  Luke 1:35.."And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God."

                                           The Death of Christ

Father:  Psalm 22:15,,"My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death."

Father: Romans 8:32.."He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"

Father: John 10:18.."No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."

Son: (John 10,18), Galations 2:20.."I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

Spirit: Hebrews 9:14.."How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?"

                                 The Resurrection of Christ

Father: Acts 2:24.."Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it."

Father: Romans 6:4.." Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."

Son: John 10:17-18.."Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.  v18..No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."

Son: John 2:19.."Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."

Holy Spirit: 1 Peter 3;18.."For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:"

Holy Spirit: Romans 8:11.."But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you."

                                The Resurrection of All Mankind

Father: John 5:21.."For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will."

Son: John 5:21.."For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will."

Holy Spirit: Romans 8:11.."But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you."

                               The Inspiration of the Scriptures

Father: 2 Timothy 3:16.."All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

Son: 1 Peter 1:10-11.."Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:"

Spirit: 2 Peter 1:21.."For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."

                                      Doubting Thomas
After the resurrection of Jesus, Thomas did not believe it would be his Jesus. In the Gospel of John we find in chapter 20, that Jesus puts the doubts of Thomas to rest. In the end, Thomas calls Jesus.."My Lord and my God". There is little doubt here as to who Jesus is for Thomas would have been committing Idolatry if this was NOT the GOD who said in Exo 20:3.."Thou shalt have no other gods before me."

John 20:26.."And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you."

John 20:27.."Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing."

John 20:28.."And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God." Here Thomas call Jesus, his Lord and GOD! Jesus is GOD.

                                                  ***********

In Asaph’s Psalm 2, there is a dialog between the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the Trinity

                                             1st Paragraph

Psa 2:1 ..Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

Psa 2:2 ..The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

Psa 2:3..Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

* Speaking is either God (the Father) who is speaking in the third person or the Holy Spirit

                                                  2nd Paragraph

Psa 2:4 ..He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Psa 2:5 ..Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Psa 2:6 .. Yet have I set my king (Jesus Christ) upon my holy hill of Zion.      (emphasis added)

*The one speaking here is Jesus Christ as seen in Psa 2:6.

                                               3rd Paragraph

Psa 2:7 ..I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. (Jesus Christ is speaking here)
Psa 2:8..Ask of me,(God the Father speaking here) and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.  (emphasis added)

Psa 2:9 ..Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

*Speaking here is Jesus Christ and God (the Father)..as we see in Psa 2: 7-8 *

                                                 4th Paragraph

Psa 2:10 ..Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

Psa 2:11 ..Serve the LORD (God, the Father) with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Psa 2:12..Kiss the Son (Jesus Christ) , lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.  (emphasis added)

*The one speaking here is the Holy Spirit…..as seen both are spoken of in Psa 2:11-12*

                                                    Commentary:

Psalm 2 not only shows the Trinity having a conversation between themselves but Psalm 2 brings forth:

1. a prophecy about the Battle of Armageddon that will come at the time of the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ!

2. shows the infinite awesome absolute power and sovereignty of GOD!

3. the mystery of Grace through Jesus Christ!    (from the OT)

                                                 1st Paragraph

In Psa 2:1,,,the people of the earth are rising up against GOD...We see that GOD upon high is seeing this as it is happening in the distant future.  Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?   A vain thing?   Yes, GOD is looking at the stupidity and arrogance of thinking that they can challenge HIM in battle when all HE had to do in creating the earth and all it’s inhabitants was speak “Let there BE”.

I find it incomprehensible that man would consider such a move, even with the backing of Satan. Yet, It was tried before when the Tower of Babel was being built. The main theme at that time was to overtake GOD’s place in Heaven. At this time, God uses the same words He used here in Psa 2:3..”LET US” confound the single language of the day into 70 different languages and spread the people over the earth.

The Battle of Armageddon is shown to us in Rev 19 and is at the very least a grand failure on the part of mankind.  With the WORD of GOD (Jesus Christ) riding a white Horse, A spoken word is all that will be needed to end this charade.

                                              2nd Paragraph

We actually find God is laughing at those who would contemplate such a thing.  (Psa 2:4-5.) His Wrath will consume all of them. Yet, He sends His KING (Jesus Christ) to sit upon the throne of David on the Holy hill of Zion. This last verse also speaks to the very physical 1000 years as HE said “I set my king (Jesus Christ) upon my holy hill of Zion.” This is not a spiritual event

                                              3rd Paragraph

We find Jesus Christ speaking about what His father has said to him in verse 7 and GOD (the Father) telling Jesus, “Ask of me”  and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. God (the father) continues to instruct Jesus to rule (the millennium) with an iron rod in Psa 2:8

                                              4th Paragraph

Here we find the Holy Spirit asking the kings of the earth to serve the Lord (God the Father) or be destroyed, then tells them and “us”  that those who put their faith in HIM (the Son, Jesus Christ) will be blessed.  As we can see here in the OT, in a Psalm of Asaph, the mystery of GRACE through Jesus Christ is alive and well.

                                                **************

Genesis Chapter 5, Generations of Adam

I bring to you our beliefs and why we believe them. I urge you follow Acts 17:11 and  search the scriptures to see if what we say is true.

                                              ************

In today's society, 'Hidden Codes' in the Bible have become a reason to reject the whole Bible. Most of the 'Hidden Codes' are from those who are trying to predict the future and they go through extreme measures to show the codes exist. However, it has been said that if one takes a copy of the "Mobby Dick" and run it through the same procedures, the same type codes found will be similar to those found in the Bible.  The old computer adage is:"If you torture the data long enough, it will say anything."

We at 'Sharing God's Word' believe there are hidden codes in the Bible and will present some of them in this article with the proof of existance. We further believe that while these codes are predictive of future events happening  within the scriptures, they also help prove GOD's fingerprint is prevalent throughout the Holy Bible.

There are many disputed 'name meanings' by reputable scholars. As the bible only transliterates the Hebrew proper names to approximate the way they were pronounced: it is hard with a good lexicon to come up with what a Hebrew name really means. (1)  However one can get good but somewhat disputed results by searching the meaning of the ROOT word(s).

Genesis 5:1.. "This is the book of the generations of 'Adam'. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;" This scripture gives us the name of Adam (from the root adomah) meaning 'man'. [emphasis added]

Genesis 5:4 Adam begat Seth which means 'appointed'. In Gen 4:25..(KJV) "And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath 'appointed' me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.." Gen 5:7  [emphasis added]

Genesis 5:7... Seith begat Enosh which means 'mortal - man'.

Genesis 5:9..Enosh begat Cainan [Enosh’s son was named Kenan, from which can mean sorrow,” dirge,” or “elegy.” (The precise denotation is somewhat elusive; some study aids unfortunately presume an Aramaic root synonymous with “Cainan.”) Balaam, looking down from the heights of Moab, employed a pun upon the name of the Kenites when he prophesied their destruction.[2,3]

Genesis 5:12..Kenan begat Mahalaleel [from mahalal,] Kenan’s son was Mahalalel, from mahalal, which means “blessed” or “praise”; and El, the name for God. Thus, Mahalalel means the Blessed God. Often Hebrew names included El, the name of God, as Dani-el, “God is my Judge,” Nathani-el, “Gift of God,” etc.[4]

Genesis 5:15..Mahalaleel begat Jared  from the verb yaradh, meaningshall come down.

Genesis 5:18..Jared begat Enoch meaning 'which means “teaching,” or “commencement.”

Genesis 5:21..Enoch begat Methuselah: Enoch named his son to reflect this prophecy. The name Methuselah comes from two roots: muth, a root that means “death”[5] ; and from shalach, which means “to bring,” or “to send forth.” Thus, the name Methuselah signifies, his death shall bring.[6] And, indeed, in the year that Methuselah died, the flood came. Methuselah was 187 when he had Lamech, and lived 782 years more. Lamech had Noah when he was 182.[7] The Flood came in Noah’s 600th year.[8] 187 + 182 + 600 = 969, Methuselah’s age when he died.[9]

Genesis 5:25..Methuselah begat Lamech.  a root still evident today in our own English word, “lament” or “lamentation.” Lamech suggests despairing..[10])

Genesis 5:28-29..Lamech begat Noah. which is derived from nacham , “to bring relief” or “comfort,” as Lamech himself explains.[11]

If one places all these meaning together prophecy is given that will take 2500 years before it is fulfilled.

Man (is) appointed mortal sorrow (but) the blessed GOD shall come down teaching his death shall bring (the) despairing, comfort (and) relief"  (emphasis added)

Skeptics would deny this hidden code but would it have been possible for Moses to sit around the campfire and try to figure out how to make Genesis prophesize about the Christ to come....

God told the events of the first five books of the Bible (Torah) to Moses. These books contained events that happened 2500 years prior.[12].

Only one author would know the names of those that lived during this pre and post flood earth.[13]  Only one author would know the coming of Jesus Christ and how His Grace would affect millions. Only one author knows what happened in the beginning and what will happen in the end. This one author, Our Lord God in Heaven gave us a Bible (KJV) with an integrated narrative from the beginning to the end.

We Believe!

I bring to you our beliefs and why we believe them. I urge you follow Acts 17:11 and  search the scriptures to see if what we say is true.

                                              *****************

Having written many articles for several Christian Forums, 'Sharing God's WORD' will be bringing those type articles and others to you the reader directly. We will share with you the what and why our beliefs happen to be. All through the Sovereignty of GOD and His WORD in The Holy Bible!

**We believe that Jesus Christ is "fully" God Incarnate, became "fully" man to fulfill a destiny on our behalf, was crucified, buried, and bodily resurrected, is presently seated on His Father’s Throne, and will soon return to establish His Kingdom on the Earth.  Jesus Christ is the Way, Truth and the Life (John 14:6).  Only through Him and Faith and "Faith alone" in the Gospel of Jesus will one be able to get to heaven and eternal life.

(1 Cor 15:1-4)..(KJV).."Let me now remind you, dear brothers(*) and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. V2..It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. V3..I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. V4.. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said." (emphasis added*Greek brothers; also in 15:31, 50, 58

**We believe in the Trinity of God (the Father), Jesus Christ (the Son) and the Holy Spirit as the one and only GOD of the creation of all things.

**We believe the inerrant Word of GOD (original manuscripts-autographs) as brought to us through the Authorized King James Bible (1611 Old English, 1769 (new) English Editions).  There are questions as to the inerrancy of this Bible....Yes, this Bible has around 200 errors within its pages. These are for the greater part found in the transliteration of Hebrew to Greek to English proper names. Other errors result in the ending and beginning of Chapters and Books of the Bible...These errors are well known and have been cataloged. Many of those errors may be found in this link. **
The Authorized King James Bible is made up of two Testaments, 66 Books with 40 writers and ONE---AUTHOR.....GOD.  This complete set of books is an integrated work from beginning (Genesis 1:1) to the End (Revelation 22:19) through the Inspired work of GOD:

2 Tim 3:16..(KJV).."All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:."

**The Holy Bible is the story of two weddings;  where God (the Father) has chosen a nation, a people (Israel) not because they were stronger or prettier or better that everyone else but because it was in His sovereign power to do so.  He becomes a husband to her (Jer 3:14-15), then divorces ( Jer 3:8) her because of her idolatry, fornication, adultery and wickedness but not before they have a SON.

**This Son (Jesus Christ) through his sacrifice at the Cross, Burial and Resurrection from the grave will forgive the sins of believers and give them eternal justification and glorification. He will build His Church as He had once told Peter (Mat 16:18) where He will be the Head and the Body will be the members (believers) of His Church. They, the members will also become His bride elect and prior to His 2nd Advent, His bride (Rev 19:7).

**Our interpretation of the Bible is Literal, Historical and Grammatical.

We agree with Dr. Cooper's 'common sense Golden Rule of Interpretation':
“When the plain sense of Scripture makes common sense, seek no other sense; therefore, take every word at its primary, ordinary, usual, literal meaning unless the facts of the immediate context, studied in the light of related passages and axiomatic and fundamental truths, indicate clearly otherwise.” [1]
This has often been shortened to “When the plain sense of Scripture makes common sense, seek no other sense, lest it result in nonsense.”
